I have a MBP 1,2 that I bought when it came out. I just upgraded from the factory 100GB HD to a 250GB and also bought 2x2GB DDR2 @ 667Hz RAM. The HD is in, formatted and running beautifully. The problem is when I put anything over 2GB of ram (it worked with the factory 2GB and I have just one of the new 2GB sticks in now and it's working perfectly) the thing doesn't start. It tries to start and I hear the HD and OD try and start but it putters out after a half a second. Can a 1,2 not have more than 2GB RAM? Do I have to change settings somewhere? Cause it's not like the RAM itself is not compatible. Thanks for any input.
