How to open/install flash player 9?

hi, just reinstalled os 10.39 and now can't run videos, says i need flash player. fp 10 doesn't work with 10.39 so i downloaded fp 9 and it tells me there is no application to open it. can someone tell me how to open and install this? video worked before. tia, j (ibook g4)

Download the stand alone Flash Player 9 binary from here.

Make sure you download the correct one for your machine.

i'm trying to find out which is the right one for my machine. ibook g4 os 10.39. any suggestions?? the ones i've tried will not open. j
