G4 housing

I was wanting to know if anyone knows where I can buy clear replacement cases for the iBook G4 12" or 14" models.

You can't just buy a replacement case. The only clear iBook cases were on prototype mac's which are pretty much impossible to find anywhere. There are some places in Japan where you can make a custom case but other than that you are out of luck

you dont happen to have one of the websites or info to get ahold of thoes places?

You could buy a G3 iBook case and try to get the G4 iBook in there - those cases were made from transparent plastic that was painted white from the inside I believe...

yea, but the G3 where not slot loading cd-rom drives they where tray loaded. so there would be a huge gap there, i ordered me a set of G3 plastic for 30 dollars off of a guy and gonna see what i can do with it.

Hmmm, maybe you can add a see-through window there or something.

I'd check out some pc case modding sites for ideas...

just a factory that agreed to make them for me here in my home town, i'll let you all know how much they are once they give me a price.
