Hi guys,

I just downloaded my first TV episode into itunes from the store. I want to play it on my TV but to do that I need to get it onto video DVD, not a data DVD which iTunes allows. I have copied the episode to a data DVD just to get it out of iTunes and I now have a 504Mb .m4v file in my Movies folder (plus a burnt DVD).

Is it possible to get TV shows out of iTunes without using up a DVD?

If burning a data DVD is the only way, is it now a matter of converting the video to .mov and using iDVD to burn a video DVD or is there a better way to do it?

Ken.

I think the DRM prohibits exactly that. If you figure it out, let us know. Best way I've found to view iTune video on television is to buy a used AppleTV and watch your content on the big screen that way.
