I left the shutter open for about 2.5 seconds, and fired a flash at the start.. so the bright flash took care of imprinting my girlfriend in the picture, then she darted out of the frame, which left the whisp like trail because it was still 'recording' would have looked better if she had moved out of the frame slower, but I still like the image Obviously when she moved out of the way of the backdrop, that was able to make an imprint on the sensor. Sorry if I havent explained myself very well.

That is a technique called ghosting, for those who care.
Nice camera- the images look great! I presume you did not use a stock lens?
I could imagine how to do it, specially with the nice fadeout in the bottom (btw, I like this pic more and more everytime i come back here )
selecting around hair is possible, it's a pain in the a** but if u play a bit with refine edge and masking, u can manage
I'm really amazed at what you can do with just using your camera right
