Very cool, especially the time lapse near the London Eye

Beautiful shots. I can't comment on the technical aspects as I know nothing of photography, but I do know beautiful images when I see them

btw, the shot with your girlfriend(?), was she in the picture/taken in the same spot, or taken from a completely different image? just curious

I left the shutter open for about 2.5 seconds, and fired a flash at the start.. so the bright flash took care of imprinting my girlfriend in the picture, then she darted out of the frame, which left the whisp like trail because it was still 'recording' would have looked better if she had moved out of the frame slower, but I still like the image Obviously when she moved out of the way of the backdrop, that was able to make an imprint on the sensor. Sorry if I havent explained myself very well.

That is a technique called ghosting, for those who care.

You would infact be right in assuming that.. I used an Ultra Wide Angle 10-22mm Canon Lens. Fortunately one of the directors at work is into photography quite a bit, so he lets me use his gear . Id love to buy one of my own, but its gonna set me back around £500, more than the camera is worth.. Eventually I wouldnt mind a 5D MkII aswell

And scathe I was wondering myself if I did it with 2 different images, whether I could get the same effect.. But I dont think it would have come out quite as nice as this.. I hate cutting people out in Photoshop.. I would have gone crazy when I tried to do the hair

selecting around hair is possible, it's a pain in the a** but if u play a bit with refine edge and masking, u can manage

The fadeout wasnt intended.. but because I used such a WA lens, and the flash was on top of the camera (obviously) so the camera body stopped the flash reaching her legs..

Completely accidental, but I agree it looks awesome.

i loooove the water on the one with Ben and the bridge. composition is not super compelling, but it is a very pretty pic.
