Hi

I recently changed my mail account from using pop3 to using IMAP. It works great on my mac, but when it is synced to my iPod Touch it all seems to work until I go and check my mail on my iPod. It will get all my mail from the inbox, but it doesn't get new mail that is in my other folders until i go into that folder.

Is there any way of making it check all the folders for mail when I open up mail? This is using the default mail app on iPod touch.

Any help much appreciated

I've found that this is by design. If your iPhone (or Touch) had to sync all folders in addition to the Inbox it could "potentially" take awhile.

I've found that it won't cache your emails until you actually open the folder.

Ah well - guess I will have to open each folder to check.

If I deleted all the extra folders that have been synced, would the mail that goes into them all go into the inbox? Or would they just not get through?

Cheers
