i can't access ftp and i'm behind ISA

I'm running Leopard 10.5.4 in my place of work and I'm behind Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA) proxy and the IT department give me access to all protocols including FTP where i need to access our website through FTP and the problem is I can't use the ftp using any client (i.e CuteFTP Mac) and when i reboot to windows vista and using my account i could access the website through ftp.I would appreciate it if you help me with this issue.Thanks

Maybe the IT department haven't added the proxy settings to the OS X network preferences
