SuperDrive ejects when trying to burn.

My Macbook Pro 15" ejects the CD I am trying to burn when I start the burn, it says "Starting burn" then ejects the drive and then says "Waiting for disc to be inserted". Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

What brand of media are you using? Sounds like the machine is being fussy and not liking your current CDs. Never had a coaster with Verbatim or Phillips brands.

The discs were phillips, but i think it was human error, because I tried again this morning and its working, so i guess i just didnt know what was going on.
