why wont it work with my samsung? i have the mini-DVI adaptor and it works on my Sony tv in my living room but it doesnt work on my samsung tv in my bed room... whats going on?

How does it not work?

Does it blow up when you turn it on? Does it say anything? Does it even turn on? What?

it just doesn't recognize that its there...
