Hi everyone!

Since I have upgraded to Leopard, some of my plug-in's in Logic do not function correctly... but Leopard is just so useful.

So my question... can I install Tiger AND Leopard on the same machine (MacBook Intel) ?

Thanks!

Have you tried repairing permissions on the disk or gone to the manufacturers of the plug-ins websites to see if they offer Leo-compatible upgrades?

You can, but you will have to repartition and install Tiger on one of them

thanks for the help people... i will check those things out... i assume I can use disk utility to create the partition and maybe bootcamp to do the installation? sorry for all the questions... used Windows for years.. the great thing with mac is you don't need to know how to take the thing apart and hack everything just to keep the thing working!!! :)

Disk Utility in Leopard lets you live partition a drive, but I would have a back-up in place just in case.

Bootcamp is not needed, that's for windows, you can swap which drive boots using the Startup Disk preference pane or by pressing the alt key on start-up

Well technically, if you really wanted to use the command line, I'm sure Terminal is more than capable of handling basic partitioning ;P

So.... can I run a second hard drive with Leopard on my Powermac G5, leaving Tiger on the existing? Reason is to run Claris Home Page in Classic environment occasionally.

I run multiple copies of OS X via external firewire drives.
