I'm using a MacBook Pro trying to view images off my Canon 5D Mark II in mac's 'Preview'.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to preview the .CR2 (RAW) icons. Attached is a screen shot. Any way to fix this so that my images appear as the icons?

Do you have any other .CR2 files shot with a previous Canon camera that show their preview okay?

Try a right click within that finder window and choose "Show View Options" then make sure you have "show icon preview" checked.

I checked this information and 'show icon preview' is checked. There is still no change. :Grimmace:

Disable RAW

Try disabling RAW in your settings, it worked for me.

I don't understand. Here is a screen shot of 3 of my CR2 files shown in Finder as Icons. There doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm posting this so others will know that it's not a file type incompatibility that you're dealing with here.
