Hey folks,

First post! Hope you clever chaps can help :)

I'm a long time PC user and looking to upgrade to Mac and now is the time!
I have been looking at the 2.4 Aluminium Macbook but I have read a few things about the glossy screen. I'm going to be doing alot of photo editing and it appears that the colours are really pale and pasty.
What would you recommend? Will it still be suitable.

Many thanks for your help!

I run a small digital media company and am involved with a lot of still and moving media. I'm actually pretty impressed with the colour quality as I thought it may have been one of the MB / MBP Alu let-downs. They are nice and sharp, clear and fully ranged.

I love my Aluminum MacBook. The glossy screen doesn't bother me in the least, even with a room full of fluorescent lighting.

If the colors seem washed out, you should calibrate your display.

I haven't bought one yet ;)
Just deciding which one I am going to get! Choices choices!

Thanks for the posts both. As long as the color is true to the photos that's the main thing.
