iTunes Song Order

I imported a cd, and the song order is all messed up... Does anyone know how i can get them in the right order short of putting a number in front of the song titles?

What I do when this happens is to go into the Info dialog and manually set the Track Number fields for each song on the album ("1 of 9", "2 of 9", and so on). Sometimes after doing this I also have to re-edit the names of those tracks to remove numbers that suddenly show up at the front of each name. I don't know why this sometimes happens, but it only takes a minute or so to fix.

Maybe there's an easier way, in which case I'd like to know as well.
