Uninstall NTFS-G

Basically it sucks. It constantly thinks all NTFS drives are corrupted so I'm giving up. I'm going to buy a commercial product that I know works.

How do I uninstall it?
I tried the following:
$ sudo port uninstall ntfs-3g
Password:
Error: port uninstall failed: Registry error: ntfs-3g not registered as installed.


even thought when I pop that USB drive in ntfs-g pops up with a mount error.

You probably have to kill the app first

Attempt #2 for NTFS-3G

for various reasons I have to read and write NTFS on a removable drive.

I tried to install it using mac ports but this is what I get:

$ sudo port install ntfs-3g
Password:
Error: Unable to open port: couldn't change working directory to "/opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/fuse/ntfs-3g": no such file or directory


I have MacFUSE version 2.03 installed.
