- White MacBook, 1.5 GB of Ram, 250 GB of HDD
hi guys, it's my first post here and I'd like to share with you about my experience...
I have a white macbook with a 60 GB hd which is manufacturer standard (I'm talking abt 2 yrs ago)...
and today i was searching about HD upgrading because I'm sick of this low capacity....
I bought the portable WD passport essential HD 250GB and I swapped it with the original one..
and it worked really good, i had no problems after it ....
the process...
I've downloaded a software called SuperDuper! 2.5 and it's leopard compatible.. it's for HDs cloning and backing up..
I cloned the WD passport with a USB...
removed the original HD for the macbook and replaced it with the WD passport...
and here's the link about how too and the WD passport...
instructions in video ----> YouTube - Macbook Hard Disk Clone & Upgrade
The WD passport HD ---> My Passport Essential 500 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drives ( WDME5000 )
I don't give you a guaranty about what r u about to do... but it worked fine with me....
and I'm sorry if this thread is repeated
