Hello,

I work for a school district and have a problem in a computer lab that started the tail end of December. Here's the environment specs.

44 Workstations:
10.4
G4 eMac
256 MB RAM
40 GB HDD

1 Server:
10.3
G5 Xserve
1 GB RAM
250 GB HDD

Users authenticate via ldap and run sessions from the xserve. A while back, internet browsers started freezing the workstations. I've tried Firefox, Camino, and Safari.

There is also a local user on each workstation. Browsers work just fine, and there are no freezing issues.

So I wondered if there was some cache directory or preference file that could be corrupt on the server causing the lock-ups. I also thought that the eMacs don't have enough RAM, but nothing in the lab has changed since the beginning of the year and this is a recent problem.

Thanks for any help in advance.
