Negative scanner for mac

I have a 3-year-old iMac G5 and am looking for a dedicated film negative scanner (i.e. NOT a flatbed that also scans negs).

Does anybody know of one that works with imacs?

MacMini 14.3, 8.1 & 4.1, OS 13.5, 10.14, & 10.11 & 10.6; Macbook Pro 8.2, OS 10.12.
I hark back a year or three and add the comment that Epson were at that time the 'big name' in negative scanners, and they worked successfully with Macs. Professional photographers I worked with generally spoke well of the Epson. What has developed since that time I cannot say, but these reviews Film Scanners | Macworld,
