I work on Leopard 10.5.5 and with a server. When I do a search, it only works locally but won't find anything on the server. I suppose the indexation of the server is not activated - anyone can explain how to proceed?

are both you and the sever on 10.5

Searching a mac server now works if both client and server have been updated to 10.5.6. Also, you can sometimes get search to work if you search within a folder on the server, rather than the whole volume
