Back in the day, Apple had a utility that let you see all the characters in a font: plain, with caps, with caps and option, etc. Fontbook doesn't do this. Is there any way to have a complete look at a font? Not being able to do this is VERY annoying, especially with decorative-element or other picture fonts. Help, please!

Not exactly, but thanks. If you have a font like or zapf dingbats or adobe woodtype ornaments, you want to see all the "characters" available and which keys you have to press to use them. That's what I'm looking for.... Anyone?
