I have always used the MainMenu utility to perform routine maintenance on my MacBook Pro. I looked at the program's log window and noticed that when I executed the maintenance commands, they pretty much all come back with the responses "only superuser", "access denied", etc. I don't know how long it has been like this, but how can I fix it? I've repaired permissions and I still have the issue. Please help :)

I had this issue a while back. Have you run Xslimmer or something similar on your machine?

Here's my thread when I did the same thing.

Even if you haven't done that, would still recommend a simple deletion and re-installation of the app to see if that takes care of it.

Thanks Bobtomay! That was exactly my problem.
