i recently upgraded from a blackbook to an aluminum. i have an aluminum iMac (2007) connected to my TV and i use remote desktop a lot to control the iMac from my macbook. i have the latest updates on both machines.
i have never had a problem in the past but recently or at least only since i have had the new macbook i have had an issue. i now have to occasionally shut down remote desktop and reconnect because i loose some functionality on the iMac. for example if i try to open up something in the dock by simply clicking it i get a new finder window showing the app instead of the app opening. another example is that i will try to open my bookmarks (with the icon) in safari and instead it opens a new tab.
any ideas? or has anyone else had this happen?
thanks
