I have a MacBook Pro. I have a card that reads one eSATA HD. I never imagined i'd need another HD. Can I daisy chain or whatever its called an extra HD via Firewire400/800 to my existing HD?

In other words, does this work:
External HD > Firewire 400/800 > External HD > eSATA > Computer

Thanks

Edit: The reason why I don't use my firewire port is because i have my audio Interface through the FW400 Port. and it would just clean up the look of my computer.

You can daisy chain firewire hard drives together, not sure about eSATA though.

I know you can daisychain FW 400 but can you daisychain FW800?

Also, does anybody have an answer on the eSATA?

Thanks

After doing a few Google searches, it appears that you can in fact daisy chain FW400 & FW800 together. You cannot daisy chain eSATA though.
