Or you could install Fink, and with that install aterm, eterm, or rxvt for X11.
Also KDE with kterm or Gnome with gterm (or is it gnometerm? I dont remember)

Edit: Oh yeah, there's also glterm for cocoa but it's shareware. Try macupdate.
