wi-fi ipod toch

Okay im trying to get my ipod touch online, i have a mac mini and i set up a wireless network. I can find it with my ipod, and join it. And i got the little blue signal thing at the top left of the screen on the ipod. but when i open safari, it says: "safari cannot open the page, because it is not connected to the internet"
help?

You probably have to turn on Internet Sharing in System Preferences, under the Network settings. Try this and it should work fine, i hope
