Recently upgraded to Firefox 3, but was having crash problems, so trashed it and installed the final build of Firefox 2.

Now however, I find that all my cookies and cookie exceptions have disappeared. Bookmarks and stored passwords are OK, but cookie info gone.

Can anyone tell me how to find my cookies? And more importantly, the cookie exceptions.

I have a full disk backup from just prior to the upgrade...

Found them.

Go to user's home folder and navigate from there to

~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/

Select the profile folder, and in this there is a file called cookies.txt

Not sure if this is the actual file that Firefox references, or a text copy. Also not sure where the exceptions are stored.

Either way, what I did was just replace the entire profile folder with yesterday's backup version.
