Hi

I have tried to download Handbrake so as I can put a DVD onto my iPod.
The problem is that when Handbrake has downloaded, and I drag it into applications, then place the icon in the dock, nothing happens.

When I click on the cocktail glass to launch the software, it bounces in the dock a few times, stops, and that's it!!!

How do I get the thing to open?

FWIW the new version of handbrake will no longer decrypt encrypted DVD's.

How does this effect discussions about the application?

I must point out that the DVD I wish to transfer to my iPod is a home wedding video that a family member gave me on DVD. I do not wish to copy encrypted DVDs. Thank you cwa107 for re-opening the thread.

The problem I have with handbrake is that nothing happens when I install it. I have deleted the application and re-installed it, and now when I click on it in the dock, the icon vanishes.

This must be something I am not doing correctly, but what I don't know.

if this is 10.4 it is expected behavior. If not I suggest checking the handbrake user forums on their site. If there is no solution there, support is available.
