When did iChat start Jabber (Google chat)

Hi...

Can anyone help settle a friendly argument we're having here?

When did iChat start being able to do Jabber (Google chat)? Was it a few months ago, a year ago, or longer?

Much appreciated.

iChat 3, released as part of Mac OS X 10.4 in April of 2005, was the first release to support Jabber

Great, thanks! Now we can get on with our lives, and do things like end world hunger and curing cancer.
