Upgrading hard drive on macbook pro 15 inch.

So I am thinking about upgrading to 500 gigs or 1TB (when it comes out), just wondering how complicated it is to change out. Also what is a good brand for reliability?

Brand is really a preference, I personally like Western Digital.

Also, when selecting a hard drive, make sure it's 7200RPM. It makes a significant difference in performance!

But at the same time decreases battery life, and generates more heat.

Does my computer support a 3gbps hard drive, in "about this computer" it says i currently have a 200gig fujitsu running at 1.5 gbps

also does WD have the accelerometer support like fujitsu so if you move your computer it lifts the heads?

The 3GBPS SATA2 drive's are backwards compatible with SATA1. Without knowing more on your MBP, it would be hard to tell you if it will run at SATA2 speeds.
