Hi all,

I've just switched to MacOS several days ago, and I am puzzled how to hide files/folders on a Mac. There are too many "useless" folders in my home directory, for instance, Library, Sites. I don't like them to be shown. But I am afraid If I delete these folders, some programs will go disordered. So I just wanna hide these folders. Is there anyone knowing that?

Thanks!

Closer than you think.
Your Mac's Specs
Performa 6116 2GBSCSI 8MB OS 7.5.3
You need to use the SetFile command from the developer tools install.

Start Here

It can also be done with MacPilot

...and yes, deleting Library would be bad.

Thanks!

The command 'setfile' is just what I want,
and it's native, or more, free.
