I have an external drive that i will be using on Linux, Mac and Windows, so what is the best way to go FAT32 or NTFS?

Assuming MAC can handle them?

1) It's Mac, not MAC.

2) FAT-32. You can use NTFS but you need 3rd party software to be able to read the disc.

For the external hard drive I would choose FAT-32.
