How would I format my hard drive for an iMac G5? I'm trying to format the drive so I can install a new OS on it.

Your Mac's Specs
rMBP 15" / 2.6GHz / 16GB / 512GB
If your new os is Mac OS X you just boot from the installation CD and you have the option to start Disk Utility, where you can format the hard-drive before installing.
