ok so my password is automatically saved but I have forgotton it. I dont remember any personal info required by msn to retreive it and my hotmail password is the same. As it is saved somewhere in my mac is there a way of retreiving it?

Did you store the password in your keychain access application? If not, the best way to recover it is to contact MSN or HotMail.
