My older brother is not completely a computer person; But he bought a DVI to S-Video adapter and it was working fine on his TV while I was at home. He told me that some menu popped up about resizing and he clicked yes, (he didn't really read anything else in the message), Now my older brother says the picture on his TV is gray and blinks in and out.
He changes plug to a regular monitor and the settings are fine, but when he plugs it back into the TV it goes bad with gray color and blinking black and then to the picture and black. He tried changing the resolution in displays, but that doesn't work.

Not really sure what's going; anything would help.

Thanks

Does the adapter have an RF out channel for the TV, like channel 3 or 4 or is video input mode.
