dual 2.5 ghz with 2gb

2 GB is more than sufficient so you are better off going for the faster processor with 2 gb

You said it right there... you can always upgrade the ram later. The CPUs on the otherhand are not upgradeable. I'd def. go for the Dual 2.5 with 2gigs of ram.

I'm calculating right now
hoping nit ti pass my budget
lol

Personally I'd go for the lowest RAM model of twin 2.5's (gotta have that liquid cooling ;)) and then fill it full of 512Mb sticks (or as full as you can afford) later.

The 1Gb sticks are still too expensive but the 512s are quite reasonable.

I'm presuming that the 2.5s still use 400Mhz RAM though, if it is 500 you may want to check around for prices first.

i would personally go for the 2x2.0 with 4GB of memory.. but i like to do many things at the same time. i usually have 9 or 10 apps open at all times. but as stated before the 2x2.5 with 2GB is the better choice for video and photo editing as a job
