I have cleared history as well as "reset Safari" but whenever I click on the place where you type URLs at the top or type one letter in it, it will list past websites visited. How do I remove all these?
Once downloaded/installed/run, your problem will disappear.
Read the testimonials. Then pass the word to others. Macs rarely have trouble, but when they do, this is good freeware to have. Also, it's nice to donate to their site if so moved.
I deleted the plist file, and I also downloaded and ran Yasu, on default settings, and my problem still isn't fixed.
This is pretty annoying, there are all the past websites visited when I click on the URL bar, and type www.
When I click the history bar at the top, all of my history has been deleted as should, but the past visited websites are still there... any other ideas?
Yeah, it's a real pain. Try selecting "Private Browsing" from the Safari pull down menu and let us know if that works. In the meantime I'll dig around through the Safari files and see if I can find where it's getting the URL "autofill" from.
thats what it is... they are from my bookmarks. Man I feel stupid, I don't even know my own bookmarks. Is there anyway to stop them from showing up there? If not I will have to deal with it. Thanks for all your help guys.
