Hopefully someone can answer this quickly, I need to wrap up this job before it goes to press and am trying to figure out one thing. Is there some way in Indesign CS to have a gradient go from a color to transparent? Specifically, I want a line's stroke to fade from black to clear, because black to white stands out on the faded background it has.

Any takers?

Curses. I figured as much, I would've thought by now Adobe could integrate that into a layout program since it's everywhere else. :\

Thanks for the quick reply...

what Id recommend is a gradient that fades to the color itll overlap, so it seems clear, or if its on another layer with nothing else behind it, change layer opacity to
overlay or something.
