Hi All

I have just bought my first mac and am still finding my way around it. I need to connect to a folder on a windows server which I would useually have mapped with a shortcut on my desktop on a windows machine.

How can I do something similar without going to connect to server each time.

you can create an alias and leave it on the desktop, or add it to the dock

L or right click and select make alias

Macs have never needed to Map drives to letters, since they have no roots in MS DOS, macs just refer to drives by their network address and name
