I have have a D-Link DSL G604T router and I can only connect from my MacBook Pro if it unsecured. I used to have a 64bit hex WEP on it when I had a PC, which worked. But when I got my Mac, I tried 64 and 128bit, but neither of them worked for the Mac, it just says 'failed to connect'.

I have connected with no problems to other people's networks with ASCII passwords, but I can't work out what to do to have my network protected and working with my Mac. It have been nearly 2 years that I've had the problem, so I really need to fix it.

Try using the hexadecimal password instead of the ascii password.
