ok peeps, kinda in a quandary here.

been burning some audio cds and when I play them there are these 'scratchy' noises in the music.

my process is to decode the flacs with xact
take the wav files and use burn to create the cd.
have also burned the cd with AudialHub and in the finder

all have the same issues, this clicky scratchy noise on the cds
have changed media as well, been using HP and Verbatims
the wav files play just fine on my imac, but from the cd no such luck

any ideas?!

thanks for any help

You are using odd formats (for the Mac anyway) which may be causing encoding issues

You can add flac support to itunes

Xiph.Org: QuickTime Components :: Downloads

Either let iTunes burn the audio disk from the flac files, or if that doesn't work let itunes convert them to MP3 or AAC
