Hi I am new to Macs. I am coming from an HP Pavilion tx1120us touch screen laptop. it has a partitioned hardrive that has the recovery for windows vista on part of the hardrive I was wonder if I can use this to install it onto my new macbook aluminum (I need it for my pocket pc cell phone). and if so does anyone know how I would get it off of that part of the hardrive (I have an external drive). just don't know what file I would use.

Save your key, It should work on the same version of vista that you had on your laptop, then find a vista disk. all vista disks have all versions of vista on them. Just enter your key and it should choose the version you own. (Note, this may not work, I don't know how fussy OEM keys are, but in my opinion it is worth a shot.)
