I am trying to export a Keynote presentation (including sound track) to a mov file to play on my Ipod touch. I have created a mov file and brought it into Itunes, but when I sync I get the error message that this movie cannot be played on my Ipod.

What's up?

Just cos it is a .MOV file doesn't mean that it is the correct spec for the iPod.

I suggest you convert it to an iPod friendly .MOV file using one of the many, many conversion programs out there eg mpeg stream clip, isquint, visual hub, ffmpeg or even quicktime itself

How do you know, just by looking at the MOV file, if it is Ipod Touch compatible?

Not by just looking at it

Programs like iSquint and FFmpegX have simple presets that sets the correct encoding and resolution to make the file iPod happy
