So I kept getting this notice saying my startup disk is almost full. I then downloaded OmniDiskSweeper to see what was taking up most of the space, and it said that my Previous Systems folder was taking up a lot of space. To be honest, I'm not sure what that folder is. Can I delete it, or is it important? Someone help! Thank you!

Sounds as if you have done an Archive and Install with Tiger at some time. This saves former OS and applications etc in that 'Previous System' folder as you state.

Find it as suggested, go through it and if there is nothing there you want trash and secure empty trash. If you have problems emptying the trash do a reboot.
