Looking for bento alternative for database

2.66GHz Quad-CoreXeon, 8GBRAM, 2.6TBHDD, NvidiaGT120|2GhzCore2Duo, 2GBRAM, 160GBHDD, Nvidia9400M
I've enjoyed bento for different things but I don't really like the interface for database use. Plus it's graphic that it drains my ram on my iBook g4. I need something really simple that I can include: item # or designation, location and as much as four more fields.

Does anyone know of a program like this?

You could try the database that is contained in NeoOffice. I used it before switching to Bento. Price is good also - it is free!

Or go even more raw and try MySQL with phpMyAdmin :)
