Ok so i'm considering partitioning part of my hard drive so i can boot camp XP, what i am wondering is, if i do this and say 2 months later i dont want XP anymore, can i add that partitioned part of my hard drive back onto the mac side without reformatting or loosing all my Mac data?

thanks

Yes.

Once you go into Bootcamp and partition the harddrive, you can go back into it at any point and 'reclaim' the space. Boot Camp assistant helps you the entire way.

Its even easier than you think. Just be sure to use Boot Camp Assistant to do the partition in the first place. When/if you want to get rid of it, go into BCA and select "restore," and *bang* - you're back to one big old Mac hard drive. Couldn't be simpler.

Cheers
