Ipod touch 2g apps gone?

Hi guys, Well i got an ipod touch earlier today.. downloaded around 5-6 apps, one which i payed like £1.29 for.. I plugged the ipod into my computer for it to charge and next thing i know i have no applications left? Im not sure whats gone on and i cant seem to find them anywhere. I know £1.29 isnt anything but i dont want this to happen again once i decide to start buying more and more aplications.. does anyone know whats going on?

SIgn into your iTunes account on your computer, and you might have to redownload them. I'm guessing you weren't signed into your itunes account when you synced your ipod.
