I have a Windows XP Pro SP3 disc. I go through Boot Camp and create a 32GB partition. Then I click install. The system reboots and goes into the windows setup. I choose my new partition. Delete it, then format it as NTFS. XP copies all the files then reboots popping the XP disc out in the process. Then an error saying Windows cannot start because I am missing <windows dir>/system32/hal.dll
I have a MacBook Pro. Last generation. 2GB Ram, 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo. Has anyone else ran across this issue? I have tried 4 times with 2 different XP discs with the same results.
