I was thinking about getting myself a projector for christmas for my macbook, i was wondering what's better LCD or DLP?
Also- what cable attachment would i need? there's so many there well confusing.

Would be great if you could help me :D

The one main advantage LCD has over DLP is longevity. With DLP projectors you have to swap out the lamp after some specified amount of use, and these bulbs can be pretty expensive. With LCD you don't have that problem, and so in the long run you end up spending less money on a more expensive LCD projector.

As for what cable you'll need, it comes down to which Macbook you have and what connections the projector has. If you have a plastic Macbook, then you'll need a mini-DVI adapter. If you have the new metal Macbook, then you'll need a mini-Display Port adapter. Depending on your projector, you'll need either a VGA or a DVI adapter for either type of connector.
