First 30 gig video

i have one of these and it keeps stopping randomly while playing, and then itll start up again sometimes 1 min sometimes 3

Is it while playing video, while playing music or both?

Either way, what is the source of the media being played? iTunes or "other"? For the most part when I have experienced this problem it is ultimately a media issue and not the iPod itself.
