Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro 17" LED-Backlite display, 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB memory, 512MB VRAM, 320GB HD
So this might be a "newbie" question but I just got my hands on a New Sony Vaio laptop and it's great to be able to watch blu-ray on and game with. However, other than the blu-ray and gaming I would much rather use a Mac for everything else (email, safari, etc) I have a copy of OSX Tiger and was thinking if I buy an external Drive would I:

1. Be able to install OSX on it and
2. Be able to boot the Sony Vaio laptop from the external drive using Tiger?

Any input would be appreciated.

I wouldn't expect any help here in this forum for that kind of thing.

What you are asking is basically illegal. Check google.
